Compliance and Environmental issues are in the forefront with us. We only use legally harvested plantation woods, and other materials are compliant with the most common consumer safety standards.

Timber

Comply with the criteria and indicator of Timber Legality Verification according to the Director General of Forest Production Development’s Regulation Number: P.5/VI-BPPHH/2016 dated July 14, 2014. With Certificate Register Number: 824 303 150021

Upholstery Materials – Foam, Dacron
(Where required)

1) Complies with Non-TRIS Requirements, TDCPP (CAS No.: 13674-87-8), TCEP (CAS No.: 115-96-8), TCPP (CAS No.: 13674-84-5), and TDBPP (CAS No.: 126-72-7). The chemical analysis test was conducted in SGS TW Ltd. Chemical Lab – Taipei, with result, n.d. = Not Detected.

2) Complies with Requirements of Section 3.4 for Resilient Filling Material Test of California Technical Bulletin 117-2013. Test Procedure and Apparatus for Testing the Smolder Resistance of Materials Used in Upholstered Furniture – Section 3 resilient Filing Material Test.

Plywood and Other Composite Wood Product
(Where required)

In compliance with the provision of California Code of Regulation 93120.2 Concerning Airborne Toxic Control Measure to reduce Formaldehyde Emission from Composite Wood Product. Our Composite Wood Product used in our furniture has been complying with the formaldehyde emission standard 93120.2 (a) and the Quality Assurance requirements specified in section 93120.12, Appendix 2. Formaldehyde Emission Standard: Phase 2 (0.05 ppm).

Coating Materials

Declaration of content OEHHA Proposition 65 substances. The California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has listed the chemical methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) CAS 108-01-01 as known to the State to cause reproductive toxicity under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.

The coating materials used in our product, do not contain Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK) CAS 108-01-01, and an evaluation against the state of California’s Proposition 65 was performed for the coating materials used in our product.
